Job Summary:

Leads a team of associates responsible for providing internal wholesaling to specified accounts/territories.? Drives life, annuity and/or disability product sales by working in partnership with Divisional Sales Managers to maximize key client relationships.

Functional Responsibilities:


  • Directs internal wholesaling sales activities within a defined geographic or product area
  • Manage a team of internal wholesalers by using such tools as call monitoring, coaching sessions, training sessions and peer feedback
  • Assist Internal Wholesalers with problem/exception review and resolution, review of activities vs. goal
  • Administration of HR issues.
  • Coach on all ongoing aspects of products, operations procedures, sales skills, phone skills, industry knowledge, presentation skills and other advanced topics that are pertinent to our industry
  • Assists internal wholesaling team with increasing sales by developing and maintaining strong relationships within assigned division
  • Builds strong relations with external wholesalers and clients within assigned region/product line
  • Identifies training needs and develops and/or delivers training programs
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: Full people management responsibilities, including hiring, firing, promotions, performance/compensation management, and training/development
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required
Job Requirements

Typical Experience:?


  • College degree is preferred
  • State Life and Health license; FINRA Series 6 & 63 license.? Series 26 or 24 required within 3 months of hire
  • 5 yrs.? related work experience
  • Strong organization skills and ability to multi task continuously
Experience Required Five to Seven Years Education Required Bachelors Degree Preferred Business Category
